Norwich and Brighton have both enquired about Genk striker Mbwana Samatta The Tanzania star is valued at £10million and has scored ten goals this season But the Premier League sides may have to fend off competition from abroad 

Norwich and Brighton have asked about Genk and Tanzania striker Mbwana Samatta. 

Valued at about £10million, he has scored 10 goals this season - three in the Champions League against Liverpool and RB Salzburg. 

He also interests Eintracht Frankfurt and Lazio.

The 27-year-old was the top scorer in the Belgian top division last season with 25 goals as Genk lifted the fourth league trophy in their history.

Samatta had also crowned the winner of the Ebony Shoe award last year, which is awarded to the best African player or player of African descent in Belgium throughout a campaign.

The international has previously been linked with moves to several other Premier League outfits, including high-flying Leicester, Aston Villa and Watford.  



The 27-year-old Tanzania international had also netted against Liverpool earlier this season.
